Description
This AGR Rock Ram Power Steering System Kit is designed to handle up 40" tires on the following Jeep vehicles:1987-90 Wrangler YJ; 1991-95 Wrangler YJ*; Grand Cherokee ZJ 1997-01*; 1997-Up Wrangler TJ*; 1984-86 XJ Cherokee, MJ Comanche; 1987-01 XJ Cherokee*, Grand Cherokee*, MJ Comanche; 1980-92 Full-size Cheorkees, Wagoneers and J-series Trucks.
Note - The vehicles listed above with a (*) will require extensive modifications to the existing steering pump brackets or new brackets may have to be fabricated.
The system consists of the trail proven Super Box 1, a RockRam Power Steering Pump and the RockRam hydraulic ram cylinder. The box has been ported and modified to provide the flow of fluid to the RockRam cylinder via hydraulic fittings installed in the Super Box. The kit also includes the spherical rod ends, hose, fittings and hardware to install the RockRam system.
These RockRam kits are equipped with the large piston steering box and a Saginaw SUPER PUMP and not the original equipment TC-style pump. |
