These side guards mount to the pinch seam much like the Rubicon MOPAR version but much stronger. Build quality is good to very good. It uses 3 mounting plates along with 6 bolts through the holes in the pinch seam. Very sturdy as a side guard. For hard core rock crawlers, you may want to find something that welds/bolts to the frame. Overall, very happy with the product.
