Bestop's Oversized Tire Carrier offers the convenience of a tailgate-mount with the capacity to carry a big-tire in a swing-away. This Oversize Tire Carrier utilizes load-bearing mounting brackets, which bolt to the strong sub-structure of the Jeep, while a second set of non-load-bearing brackets attach to the tailgate. These supports along

with the articulating mechanism, allow the tailgate and the tire carrier to open and close as a single unit, and give it a hefty load rating of 200 pounds! Just what you'll need for that large tire. The Bestop Oversize Tire Carrier adjusts to accommodate tires up to 35" in size. The black powder-coat paint helps protect the heavy-duty tubular steel against rust and gives it a nice finished look. Some drilling is necessary for mounting.
