  • More Problems At Chrysler - Another Recall
    How many times can we say another recall? These folks have some production issues. After receiving dozens of reports of fires in the Dodge Durango and the Toledo-built Jeep Liberty sport utility vehicles, the Chrysler Group recalled nearly 500,000 vehicles on March 9th. Chrysler said it received 66 fire reports in Dodge Durango SUVs from the 2004-2006 model years because of electrical overloads. It is recalling 328,424 Durangos. The automaker also recalled 149,605 Libertys from the 2006-2007 model years to fix the heating-ventilation-air conditioning blower motor. Chrysler had received a dozen reports of fires for the Liberty.

    The rumors have been running that DaimlerChrysler AG has been looking to dump the Chrysler Group.
    Now the rumors are that Daimler may keep the Jeep line! We'd prefer them to sell it. After all, since they've been involved all they have done is butcher what was once an outstanding image!

Jeep and Marvel Comics are letting customers write their own comic strip, called the "Patriot Factor," which features four main characters, bad guys, some intrigue and, a Jeep Patriot to help save the day, of course. People that are selected for contributing eye-catching elements for the story will get a co-author credit the completed product, which is to be published in late March/April.
  • Chrysler Production Problems Continue To Haunt Them
    Chrysler is recalling 62,400 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep 2007 vehicles because the braking systems may fail to work. The recall includes 2007 Jeep Commanders, Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokees, Jeep Libertys, and Jeep Wranglers. They will need to reprogram the system Electronic Control Unit. The announcement on the vehicles that need to be reprogrammed are due any day!
