Matthew R. sent us this pic of his 1981 CJ-7 I rebuilt from the frame up, 5.0, C6, Dana300, Dana44's front and rear, and 36" TSL's. We'll let Matthew tell the story about the shot: "This was at Knoxville, IA Memorial day weekend. Climbing the slope to the right when I stood it vertical on the rear bumper, it twisted landed on the passenger side then rolled onto the roof. Pretty hairy ride caught it all on tape to." Why not share the video? We' ve asked him for a link to it so we can all see it. Take A Better Look |

Patrick M. at Crozet,
IN at the Packy Stowell Benefit run running the Body Shop Obstacle. Can't
imagine why they call it that. His rig is a 1990 Comanche that has been
turned into a "Truggy" (part truck part buggy, hey it's Patrick's
term for it!). It has A Teraflex Long Arm Kit with Alcan Springs in the
rear, axles are Built D-30, and a Lincoln locked 8.8. Finally a snow shot! |

Paul B. in his 1996 Cherokee Country with 9" of pieced together lift with RE drop brackets, 33" Baja Claws, Lockright in front axle, complete line of skids by Skid Row, front and rear Custom 4x4 bumpers, diff guard on the Chrysler 8.25 rear end, Kargomaster roofrack with PA speaker, TJ flares, C-Rok steering box brace, and spare tire/hi-lift jack on rear swing-out. He's riding at the Barnwell Mountain Recreation area in Gilmer, TX. He says, "I coming up to the end of the trail. Its a little blurry because I was moving pretty quick, using all of my momentum. The rear differential was getting a little bit hung up on the ledge I had just popped over, and the balding Mickey Thompsons weren't helping my cause. I ended up snapping my new rear drive shaft later that day, and swapped the front drive shaft into the rear so I could make the 3 hour drive home." Breakage always makes things interesting. Alex D. sent us this picture of his wife driving her 1997 TJ with 4.0L, 5-speed, HP D30/D44, 4" lift, 33" x 12.5", AFW Titan Bumper and more. He says, "This has been my wife's baby since I met her. Last December a young lady lost control in the snow and took out almost the whole front end. The insurance was going to total it, so I had some parts taken off the insurance estimate, and payed for it out of pocket. I spend the next 2 months in a unheated garage rebuilding everything from the front bumper to the rear bumper. Everything from the drivetrain down is completely new. This is my wife's first time back wheeling since I 'built her new jeep'." What a great husband! Take A Better Look |
